About In Their Own Write

If you’re interested in writers and writing, this site is for you. I’ve been excited by books and the magic of story telling ever since I learnt to read and knew I wanted to be a writer from an early age. Thanks to natural ability, hard work and dogged persistence, I did achieve my goal and am pleased to have had a number of  children’s books  published, along with many poems and short stories. I also made my living as a writer during a long career in journalism. Other writers’ stories continue to fascinate and inspire me.
